COUNTRY CHAIRS: Yassmine Bellakhdim & Zoubida Charrouf

Inspiring Girls Morocco have been operating for a year and they have gone from strength to strength in that time. They started the year with an event hosted in partnership with the British Embassy in Morocco, hosted by UK Ambassador, Sir Thomas Reilly. The event was a great success with many VIP guests actively engaged in women’s empowerment attending such as, Leila Rhiwi, Representative of UN-Women and Australian Ambassador Bernice Owen-Jones.

The first events launched by the team enabled them to meet and inspire 15 middle school students from rural areas in Had Brachoua and Dar Talibat. They also recently held their first online role model session and have scheduled more of these across 2021. Inspiring Girls Morocco are also represented on the International Young Ambassador Network by 11 year old Soraya.
