COUNTRY CHAIR: Angela Feged

Inspiring Girls Colombia has been in operation for two years and they have made some impressive advances in that time, organising over 45 events and registering 650 volunteers to the campaign in 2020 alone. They have also had great success in shifting their events and activities online during 2020. They started the year with a fantastic speed-networking and speakers event in partnership with Cine Colombia to celebrate International Women's Day. In the summer they held an Inspiring Tech Day in partnership with Geek Girls to showcase the wide variety of career paths available in the sector. Over 200 girls took part virtually and 47 of the inspiring snapshot talks were open to the public so even more girls in the region would be able to take part!

Over the course of 2020 the team in Colombia reached over 2000 girls and they are also represented on the International Young Ambassadors Network by 16 year old Catalina.
